David McDonald (1803-1869) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Indiana.

He was nominated by President Abraham Lincoln on December 12, 1864. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 13, 1864, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on August 25, 1869.
