David Mendoza
David Mendoza was the judge of Texas District 178.[1] Mendoza was elected to the court in 2008.[2] He was re-elected on November 6, 2012, for a term that expired in 2016.[3]
Elections
2012
Mendoza ran for re-election to the 178th District Court and defeated challenger Roger Bridgwater with 51.1 percent of the vote.[4][3]

Education
Mendoza received his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law.[5]
Career
Mendoza formerly served as the judge of Harris County Criminal Court at Law #11 for eight years. He has also worked as an Harris County assistant district attorney and a private practice attorney. In his career, he has litigated 450 jury trials, including 150 trials for serious felonies.[2]
