David Nygaard (Nonpartisan) was a Beach District member of the Virginia Beach City Council in Virginia. Nygaard was elected to the office on November 6, 2018. Nygaard was removed from office on March 19, 2019, after local judges ruled he did not meet the residency requirements to fill the seat.[1]
