Having served as a municipal administrator for 35+ years, I am passionate about effective local government and its ability to effect change at the local level.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Personal ethics, including avoidance of conflicts of interest, and representing the residents of the district as opposed to special interests.
