David Pereda
David Pereda is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. He assumed office in 2020. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Pereda won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Pereda to the court on December 8, 2020, to replace Jon R. Rolefson.[1]
Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Pereda's appointment on December 8, 2020, identified him as a Democrat.[1]
