David Pine
David Andrew Pine (1891-1970) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Pine was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on March 15, 1940, to a seat vacated by Joseph Winston Cox; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 20, 1940, and received commission on March 29. He served as chief judge from 1959-1961. He assumed senior status on April 2, 1965, and served in that capacity until his death on June 11, 1970.[1]
