David Potts (Republican Party) was a member of the Oakland County Commission in Michigan.

Potts (Republican Party) ran for election to the Michigan House of Representatives to represent District 40. Potts did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 4, 2020.

Potts was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 40 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Biography

Potts, an attorney by trade, is a member of the Oakland County Commission. He is also the co-host of a television program, Eye on Oakland. He has his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and his J.D. from the Wayne State University Law School; he also attended Hillsdale College.[1]

Potts ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 40. He ran against Robert Lawrence, Michael D. McCready, and David Wolkinson in the Republican primary on August 7. Incumbent Chuck Moss (R) did not run for re-election.[2][3]
