David Redden was the Indiana Commissioner of Labor. Redden assumed office on July 25, 2022. Redden left office on January 15, 2025.

Biography

David Redden earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master's degree in management science from Ball State University. Redden's career experience includes working as the senior vice president of human resources of Marsh Supermarkets, a vice president of warehousing and transportation, and a general manager. He served as the president of Village Pantries.[1]

Political career

Indiana Commissioner of Labor (2022-2025)

In July 2022, Redden was appointed to the office of Indiana Commissioner of Labor by Gov. Eric Holcomb (R) to succeed Joseph Hoage.[2]
