RALEIGH, North Carolina: Former North Carolina State Senator David Rouzer (R) announced he will again seek election to the U.S. House in 2014, paving the way for a rematch with current incumbent Mike McIntyre (D).[1]
Last fall, McIntyre defeated Rouzer by 654 votes -- the smallest margin of victory for any winner in 2012.
Following the 2010 Census Redistricting process, the 7th District was redrawn to favor Republicans.
