David Scanlan
David Scanlan (Republican Party) is the New Hampshire Secretary of State. He assumed office on January 10, 2022. His current term ends on December 4, 2026.
Scanlan previously served as the deputy secretary of state of New Hampshire and was sworn in after William Gardner (D) retired in January 2022 in accordance with Article 69 of the New Hampshire Constitution.[1] The New Hampshire Legislature re-elected Scanlan on December 7, 2022.[2]
Biography
Scanlan received a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University in 1978. Scanlan previously worked as the deputy secretary of state for New Hampshire.[3]
