David Shoemake is the judge for the 13th Chancery District (Seat 1) in Mississippi.[1] He was elected in 2010 for a term that expired in 2014.[2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and will expire in 2018.[3][4]

Shoemake ran for re-election to the 13th Chancery District.
General: He defeated J. Larry Buffington in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.4 percent of the vote. [4] 

2010

Shoemake competed against Douglas MacArthur Magee and J. Larry Buffington in the general election for the 13th Chancery District. He defeated J. Larry Buffington in the runoff election, winning 68 percent of the vote.[2][5][6]

Education

Shoemake earned a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1973.[7]
