David Stockdale (Indiana)
David Stockdale was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 5th Congressional District of Indiana.[1] Stockdale was defeated by incumbent Susan Brooks in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.[2]
Biography
Stockdale was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.[3] He graduated from Carmel High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He has a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Indianapolis.[3]
Career
Stockdale worked in the banking industry for ten years in management and was promoted into retail administration where he worked as a product specialist and sales trainer across Indiana. In 2008, he started his own business as an independent broker in health and life insurance.[3]

Stockdale ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Indiana's 5th District.[1] Stockdale was defeated by incumbent Susan Brooks in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.[2]
