David Swift is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. Swift assumed office in 2020. Swift's current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Swift won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Swift to the court on November 13, 2020, to replace Elizabeth Allen White.[1]

Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Swift's appointment on November 13, 2020, identified him as a Democrat.[1]
