  • Increase Public Safety and address rising crime
  • Tackling the rising cost of living
  • Properly manage our forests
Forest management and lowering the cost of housing. David has personally worked on lawsuits to protect local control and vows to take the fight straight to Sacramento
I grew up in North Highlands, CA as a first-generation American from the island of Tonga. I have worked my way out of generational poverty and want to give others the tools to do so themselves.
The greatest challenge California will face over the next decade is the mass exodus of bright individuals, businesses, and community leaders from our State. High taxes, burdensome regulations, and wasteful spending have left CA families with no option but to leave the state. We must work toward solutions that cut government programs, while protecting the middle class and lowering the insane cost of living in CA. Without families being able to own a home, this exodus will only continue.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in California

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
