David Thomas Lewis was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.[1] David Lewis was nominated by Dwight Eisenhower on May 17, 1956. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 4, 1956, and received his commission on June 5, 1956. Lewis served as chief judge from 1970 to 1977, and assumed senior status on December 3, 1977. His service ended with his death on September 29, 1983.
