David M. Thorson was a judge for the Eleventh Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to this position in January of 2005 and was most recently retained by voters in 2014.[1]  Thorson retired on January 10, 2016.[2]

Education

Thorson holds a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound Law School.[1]

Career

Thorson worked as a lawyer in Breckenridge, Colo., for 11 years, specializing in real estate, business organization and municipal law. Prior to his judicial appointment in 2006, he worked for 17 years as a deputy district attorney for the Town of Fairplay, Colo.[1]

Elections

2014

Thorson was retained to the Eleventh Judicial District with 66.0 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Judicial performance evaluation
