David Tjepkes
David Tjepkes (b. April 22, 1944) is a former Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 50 from 2003 to 2013.
Tjepkes is a State Trooper and has served as Mayor of the City of Gowrie.
He is a member of the Gowrie Economic Development Committee, Gowrie Historical Society, Rose Lodge #506, and the Webster County Historical Society.[1]

Tjepkes ran for re-election to the 50th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He was also unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Tjepkes was re-elected to the 50th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Lynne Gentry (D).[3] Tjepkes raised $31,865 for his campaign, while Gentry raised $4,725.[4]
