David Toland
David Toland (Democratic Party) is the Lieutenant Governor of Kansas. He assumed office on January 4, 2021. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Toland (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for Lieutenant Governor of Kansas. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Gov. Laura Kelly (D) appointed Toland Kansas Lieutenant Governor on December 14, 2020, and he assumed office on January 4, 2021.[1][2]
Biography
David Toland earned a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of Kansas. Toland's career experience includes working as the secretary of commerce with the Kansas Department of Commerce, the president and CEO of Thrive Allen County, the vice president of development and operations of The Menkiti Group, the chief of staff of the DC Office of Planning, the deputy chief operating officer at the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, and the capital city fellow/special assistant to the director of DC Government.[3]
