Bonilla was appointed to the superior court on July 9, 2021, by Gavin Newsom (D) to replace David I. Brown.[1]

Biography

Bonilla received his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. From 2005 to 2010, He served as a deputy district attorney at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. Then he was a partner and attorney at Bonilla and Cintean LLP from 2010 to 2013 and went on to be a sole practitioner from 2013 to 2021.[1]
