David W. Vinciarelli
David W. Vinciarelli ran for election for Memphis City Court Clerk in Tennessee. Vinciarelli lost in the general election on October 3, 2019.
Vinciarelli was a 2015 candidate for District 7 of the Memphis City Council in Tennessee. The general election took place on October 8, 2015.
Biography
Having grown up in Memphis, Vinciarelli graduated from Westside High School in 1989. He went on to take courses at the Shelby County Sheriff's Citizen's Academy and the Memphis Police Department Citizen's Academy. He has professional experience as an asset control supervisor, a contra security owner (Electrifying Security), a police officer, a security consultant (Priority One) and as private armed security.[1][2]
Vinciarelli previously ran for the Tennessee State Senate in 2014 and for the Tennessee House of Representatives in 2008.[2] He was also a campaign manager for W.B. Bates' city council run.[1]

The city of Memphis, Tennessee, held elections for mayor and city council on October 8, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 17, 2015.[3] In the District 7 race, incumbent Berlin Boyd faced Anthony Anderson, Eric Dunn, Anthony Ambee Johnson, Alfonzo Durell Lee, Michael Moore, Coby V. Smith, Thurston Smith and David W. Vinciarelli in the general election on October 8, 2015.[4] A runoff between Anderson and Boyd took place on November 19, 2015.[5]
