David W. Young was an associate judge of the Eighth Circuit Court in Baltimore City, Maryland. He began serving as a judge on the court on January 11, 1996 and he retired on October 31, 2013.[1][2]

Education

Young received his undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1977.[1]

2012 election

Young ran unopposed to the Eighth Circuit Court in the 2012 election. He was successful in his bid, receiving 16.5 percent of the vote; the six candidates with the highest vote percentages were elected in the race.[3][4]
