David Weeks (Republican Party) is a member of the Vermont State Senate, representing Rutland District. He assumed office on January 4, 2023. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.

Biography
David Weeks was born in Wallingford, Vermont, and lives in Proctor, Vermont. Weeks graduated from Mill River Union High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and reached the rank of Navy Captain. He then affiliated with the U.S. Navy Reserves. Weeks earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont, an M.B.A. from the University of San Diego, an M.P.A. from Villanova University, and a master’s in strategic studies from Army Staff College. His career experience includes working in high technology operations and project management, specializing in international fixed-price contracts, difficult clients, and high-risk endeavors with the U.S. military.[1]
Weeks volunteered with the Boy/Girl Scout Council Executive Board of Directors and the Eagle Scout Alumni Association Board of Directors. He became a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Iraq Veterans of America, Navy League, and Naval Institute.[1]
