David Werder was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Florida. Werder ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[1] He was defeated by Richard B. Nugent on November 6, 2012.[2]

Werder ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Florida's 11th District. Werder won the nomination on the Democratic ticket.[3] Candidates wishing to run were required to file by the signature filing deadline of June 8, 2012. The primary elections were held on August 14, 2012. Werder ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[1] He was defeated by Richard B. Nugent on November 6, 2012.[4]
