David Wilson (Wisconsin)
David Wilson was a member of the Beloit School District Board of Education At-large in Wisconsin. Wilson assumed office in 2018. Wilson left office in 2021.
Wilson ran for election to the Beloit School District Board of Education At-large in Wisconsin. Wilson won in the general election on April 3, 2018.
Biography
Wilson attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin - Rock County. His professional experience includes working as the director of visitor services for the Beloit Travel Wisconsin Welcome Center, a community learning center coordinator for the Beloit School District, and as a unit director for the Stateline Boys & Girls Club. Wilson has served on the Beloit School District (E)Quality Committee, the United Way Blackhawk Region community impact council, and the NAACP Youth Chapter. He has been affiliated with Rock County Youth2Youth, the Rock County Resource Center, and the Beloit Memorial High School's booster club.[1]

Two of the seven seats on the Beloit School District Board of Education in Wisconsin were up for at-large general election on April 3, 2018. Incumbents Lisa Anderson-Levy and Dennis Baskin did not file for election, leaving both seats open. Five candidates filed for election, requiring a primary election to be held on February 20, 2018. Candidates Kyle Larsen and David Wilson defeated Kathy Crawford and Sarah Weiss in the general election. Erick Johnson was defeated in the primary election.[2][3][4]
