Biography
Wolkins' professional experience includes working as a teacher, Vice President of ABC Travel, Owner/Operator of Case Tractor Dealership and President of Warsaw Power and Equipment.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent David A. Wolkins was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8]

Wolkins won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 18. Wolkins ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated Christopher Wright (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10]
2010
Wolkins won re-election to the 18th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He received 12,820 votes in the November 2 general election.
Wolkins defeated Retha Hicks in the May 4th primary by a margin of 5,094 to 2,052 votes.[11]

On November 4, 2008, Republican David Wolkins won re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 18 receiving 18,017 votes.[12]
