Davis Haire was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 117 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Biography
Haire attended Ohio State University, Mansfield University and earned a doctorate degree in Optometry in 1977. His professional experience includes working as ophthalmologist in Dr. Vincent Bishop’s practice in Tunkhannock.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Karen Boback defeated Davis Haire in the Republican primary, while Laura Dickson was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Boback defeated Dickson in the general election.[3][4][5]
