Nebraska: The Nebraska Court of Appeals ordered the Dawes County Court to vacate the conviction and sentence of Ryan Chizek in one of the four cases filed against him in 2009.[1]
Chizek's attorney said there was an insufficient factual basis in the case that resulted in the Court of Appeals decision. He also told District Court Judge Randall Lippstreu that he needed discuss the case with the special prosecutor to determine how to proceed.[1]
In 2009, Ryan Chizek was arrested and charged with having sexual contact with several girls under the age of 15 while he was older than 19.[1]
