Dawn Haynes
Dawn Haynes is an at-large member of the Newark Public Schools Board of Education in New Jersey. She assumed office in 2018. Her current term ends in 2027.

Biography
Haynes' professional experience includes working as a technician for Direct TV. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was an ROTC member. She has volunteered with the Newark Anti Violence Coalition and as the PTO president of Harriet Tubman Elementary School.
Haynes graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute and Malcolm X Shabazz High School.[1]
