Dawn K. Branch represented District 5 seat on the Cecil County Board of Education in Maryland. She was first elected to the board in 2010. Branch won re-election unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. Branch did not run for re-election in 2018.

Branch earned a B.S. in business management from the University of Baltimore. She later received a master's degree in elementary education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Branch has owned and operated a travel agency since 2007. She and her husband have two children.[1]

Wendy Wintersgill, William Malesh and Dawn K. Branch ran unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. Malesh ran to replace Donna Zane, who did not file for re-election.

Results

Incumbents Wendy Wintersgill and Dawn K. Branch were re-elected without opposition to the board for their second consecutive terms in District 3 and 5 respectively. Newcomer William Malesh was also elected to the District 4 seat without opposition.
