Dawson Engle

Dawson Engle was an associate judge for Pottawatomie County in the 23rd District of Oklahoma. He was appointed by Republican Governor Mary Fallin on June 10, 2016, to replace Associate Judge John D. Gardner. He served until January 2019.[1]
Engle was previously a special judge on the court from 2005 until 2016.[2][3]
Biography
Engle received a B.S. from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.[4] He previously worked in private practice and served as a prosecutor in Pottawatomie and Oklahoma counties from 2000 to 2003. He was awarded the Lincoln County Domestic Violence Advocate of the Year award in 2011 by Project Safe.[3]
