Dayo started his accounting career as a financial statement auditor with one of the Big Four accounting firms. He was the eye of the public. He was responsible for ensuring that financial information presented to the public fairly and accurately represents the true state of the company. As an attorney, Dayo focused on matters affecting the community, issues such as housing matters, family law, contract law, and other areas. With a devoted passion to give back to the community and ensure that individuals with limited financial means have access to legal assistance, Attorney Dayo offered pro bono services to indigents, embodying the belief that justice and compassion should go hand in hand.

  • Our campaign and political philosophy are characterized by 3Cs – Compassionate, Committed, Consistent. Compassionate: I live here among the people; my children attend schools here; we share the same dreams, hopes, struggles and pain of the people of HD 76. It takes one who is touched by the struggles and the challenges of everyday Texans to compassionately fight for the people and not for politicians or lobbyists. As an attorney, I am committed to fighting for the health, safety, security and well-being of all Texans. As one who will be your state representative, I want to be your voice, your hands, and feet. I will work hard to ensure that District 76 gets a seat at the table.
  • Committed: I am a fiscal conservative. I will work with my colleagues to ensure that unnecessary spending and waste are trimmed out of the budget and funds are channeled to critical areas such as education, teachers’ salary, border security, economy and matters that affect Texans. As an accountant, I will advocate for reduced government spending, tax reduction for the people, better business environment for Texans to thrive, and minimal government debt.
  • Consistent: I’m not a politician, and I’m tired of empty promises. I believe our government officials should mean what they say and say what they mean – let your yes be yes and your no be no. I am consistent and will remain consistent in advocating for the legislative priorities of my constituency not lobbyists.
Texas is currently experiencing a shortage of mental health and recovery care providers. As a person who has worked with people with mental and physical disability, I am quite passionate about taking care of the vulnerable and the disabled in our communities. I will advocate for policies that takes care of all Texans, especially the vulnerable ones among us.

I believe an elected official must be honest, truthful, just and fair – say what you mean and mean what you say, whether in the secret or in the open. An elected official should not accept in secret what he will not openly accept. It is important that an elected official is not double-tongued. He must be principled, be a good listener and be the voice of constituents. He is not representing himself but sent to represent the people. He must be the voice of the people and not lobbyists or special interest groups.
Fort bend county, where District 76 is situated, is one of the most diverse districts in the nation. Aside from my life experience as an accountant, attorney, and a minister, I have the background and the cultural relativity to connect with the diverse population of District 76. I am multi-lingual and have spent time on five out of the seven continents. I believe experiencing different languages and culture can be crucial for gaining a deeper understanding of people and the world.
