Dean Ausilio
Dean Ausilio was a district court judge for the 37th District Court in Michigan.[1] He was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder in November 2012, and assumed office on December 5, 2012.[2] Ausilio was defeated in the election on November 4, 2014, and stepped down when his term expired on December 31.[3]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 42.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Suzanne Faunce.

Education
Ausilio attended Wayne State University, where he received a B.A. in history in 1982 and a J.D. degree in 1985.[2]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Ausilio and his brother were partners in the firm Ausilio & Ausilio. He also previously served as an administrative hearings officer and as the deputy treasurer for the City of Warren from 1987 to 1988.[4]
