For 40 years, I’ve worked to improve the quality of life in Hermosa Beach. I’ve led the way on controlling development, maintaining Hermosa’s unique character, protecting our environment, and making streets safer for residents and bicyclists.

As a Sierra Club leader, I’ve helped stop an oversized hotel in Hermosa, kept Storm Drain pollution off beaches, extended the Bike Path and saved our Greenbelt from being paved over.

Together, my private sector work and public policy experience working on major budgets makes me the best qualified to meet the needs of residents and businesses.

My experience serving on the Chamber of Commerce, City Commissions, Red Cross, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and other organizations, has prepared me to work on wide range of complex issues. Priorities: — Maintain quality services, especially Police, Public safety. — Increase crosswalk safety. — Improve Residential parking. — Address Homeless Issues. — Manage budget, focus on residents’ needs over costly studies. — Reasonable development within existing code.

— Help small businesses thrive.

— Cut red tape.

— Seek outside funding to improve streets, sewers, facilities.

— Provide independent leadership, listen to residents.

— Open communication with the public.

— Improve transparency and accountability with consistent open dialogue!
