Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 47.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Anthony Thibodeaux. [1][2]

Wattigny received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University.[3]

Career

Wattigny is a partner at the law firm of DeRouen and Wattigny, an assistant district attorney in the 16th Judicial District, and the legal counsel for the Iberia Parish Council.[3]
