My family and I have lived, worked and contributed to the Hudson Valley community for over 50 years. This is our home. Our outlook on life is informed by the long-held values of our communities - hard work, personal accountability, honesty, and good neighborliness.

I grew up in Dutchess County. I went to Wappinger Central School. I continued, like many, going to Dutchess Community College and then Marist. A few years ago I decided to go back and obtain my MBA from SUNY Empire State and graduated. I raise my 3 kids here and now our oldest is raising his 3 kids (my grandkids) here too.

I've been a small business owner for most of my life. At one point in time, having over 50 people working in my organization. My wife and I are vested in our community. We volunteer on many committees and organizations. We eat and shop local. We support the community as the community has supported us. This is who I am and what I will bring to Albany.

  • Up hold the Constitution of the United State - That means the 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. amendments. That means protecting everyone's rights and freedoms.
  • Reign in spending. New York is over $6 Billion in debt and its only getting worse. We need to balance our budget and make reasonable cuts.
  • Fix or rewrite out dated laws and regulations. This also means repealing and fixing bail reform. This means cutting the red tape of running a business.
Government has become more intrusive in everything we do. We need to stop the barriers of entry that Government crates that stops business from starting or investing in New York. We need to cut taxes. New York is one of the highest taxed states in the union. We need to also encourage personal responsibility. Give people the Freedom to choose what's best for them and their family as our forefathers intended. We need to provide the infrastructure, such as high-speed internet, good roads and other utilities. This will encourage business to grow and create good paying jobs.
I'm a self-starter, self-motivated, a go-getter, honest, dependable and driven.
To represent their community and not the special interest groups.
I could say the assassination of JFK, RFK or MLK but I was still too young to realize the significance. So the event I remember most was July 20th 1969. I was 8 and Neil Armstrong was "making one giant leap for mankind". I remember my Mother waking me up to see it on TV. Maybe this race is my giant leap to fix New York for all New Yorkers.
Having experience in government or politics can be beneficial, it can also produce the same old results. Having a short legislative session over two year you need to learn quickly. I think the person with some experience, but not married to the system, can use their experience to navigate the system and fight for what's right.
Finances. Business and tax payers are leaving and the state is in debt. We need a business minded candidate to create a plan to trim spending and raise income.
Based on my experience and passion the following are committee's that I would be interested in: Agriculture, Banks, Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce and Industry, Housing, Insurance, Labor, Real Property Taxation, Small Business, Veterans' Affairs
