Dean Sheridan was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 14 of the Georgia State Senate.[1]
Sheridan was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 23 of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Elections
2013
Sheridan ran in a special election for Georgia State Senate District 14. The seat was vacant following Sen. Barry Loudermilk's (R) resignation to focus on his Congressional campaign. Sheridan faced Christopher G. Nesmith (D), Matt Laughridge (R), Nicole Ebbeskotte (R), Dwight Pullen (R) and Bruce Thompson (R) in the special election, which took place on November 5. He did not garner enough votes to proceed to the runoff.[2][1][3]
2012
Sheridan ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 23. Sheridan ran against Mandi Ballinger and Alan Shinall and Odis "Harold" Welchel in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012. Sheridan was defeated by Mandi Ballinger in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012.[4] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
