Hall's campaign Facebook page highlighted the following issues:
“ |
Our City, Our Community, Our Vision is about continuing to set Durham apart by celebrating the contributions of what makes this city so great: it's PEOPLE. Durham has seen a recent surge in redevelopment and revitalization. However, the harsh reality is that many of the renewal benefits have excluded members of our community. Focusing on affordable housing to decrease the wealth gap, creating training and employment pipelines with existing and emerging companies, and improving the means for which residents travel to and from these jobs are just a few of the things we're working towards. We can get there by bridging the gap between city leaders and residents. I'm willing to be that bridge.[3] |
