Deatrice Haney
Deatrice Haney (Democratic Party) (also known as Dee) is a member of the Clayton County Public Schools in Georgia, representing District 5. She assumed office on January 1, 2021. Her current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Haney (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Clayton County Public Schools to represent District 5 in Georgia. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Haney was a candidate for District 5 representative on the Clayton County Board of Education in Georgia. Haney lost in the primary election on May 24, 2016.[1]

Five of the nine seats on the Clayton County Board of Education were up for general election on November 8, 2016. A primary election was held on May 24, 2016. District 5 incumbent Ophelia Burroughs defeated Christina Cummings and Deatrice Haney in the Democratic primary. District 6 incumbent Mary Baker advanced past Democratic primary opponents Cephus Jackson, Germaine Duncan, and Tom Huynh. District 7 incumbent Judy Johnson won the Democratic nomination against Sabrina Hill, C. Synamon Baldwin, and James Bishop. Burroughs, Baker, Johnson, District 2 incumbent Mark Christmas (D), and District 3 incumbent Jessie Goree (D) won without opposition in the general election.[1]
