Debbie Boyd
Debbie Boyd is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 11 from 2006 to 2010. She served as a Newberry City commissioner from 2002 to 2006.
Biography
Boyd's professional experience includes working as a realtor.
Boyd is a member of the Dixie-Gilchrist-Levy Association of Realtors, Florida Cattlemen's Association, and Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors.[1]

Issues

Elections
2010
Boyd lost her bid for re-election to the 11th District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. Boyd was defeated by Elizabeth Porter (R) in the November 2 general election. John Ferentinos (Tea Party) also ran.[3]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Boyd won re-election to the Florida House of Representatives from Florida's 11th District, defeating Elizabeth Porter (R). Boyd received 36,892 votes in the election while Porter received 36,713 votes.[4] Boyd raised $263,589 for her campaign; Porter raised $231,371.[5]
