Debbie Hamby Wood (Alabama)
Debbie Hamby Wood (Republican Party) was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 38. She assumed office on November 7, 2018. She left office on July 31, 2025.
Wood (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 38. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Hamby Wood resigned from the Alabama House of Representatives on July 31, 2025, after she announced she was moving out of her district.[1]
Biography
Assemblymember Wood was born in Valley, AL. She attended Southern Union State Community College. In her career, she served as broker and owner of Century 21 Wood Real Estate, starting in 2000. In addition to these positions, she served as president of Alabama Association County Commissioners.[2]
