- All citizens in Illinois are overtaxed. It is time to hold the line on taxes and live within our means. Democrats need to define who they are taxing when they say tax the rich. What is the definition of rich. It could be $90,000, which is not even the median income in Will County. The median income in Will County was 107,799 in 2023. I believe some people consider that rich. In actuality, they are actually taxing the average citizen who is struggling to raise a family.
- The source and cost of engery (i.e. gas and electric)keeps going up at a rate that will soon become to high to keep our lights on and our homes heated. Solar power keeps taking away good farmland that puts food on our table. Wind power is not sustainable in Illinois. How many times have you seen those turbines still. Did you know they require electricity to run? All of this alternative power is being placed without input from the citizens.
- Will County has to get control of their traffic. They have had a study going for over 8 years. Where is the result of that study. Why are more truck terminals being approved without improvements to our infrastructure. How many more deaths have to happen before this is seriously looked at.
I am also passionate about representing the people. Once a politician has taken an oath of office, it doesn't matter who a person is or who they voted for - their voice matters. Does your representative make themselves available to the public. Are they easy to contact and talk to. These qualities are important to me. On that same note, is your representative the one who answers your questions or does staff and or their peers answer for them.
