Debbie Schillinger
Debbie Schillinger was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 8 of the Maryland House of Delegates.
Biography
Schillinger grew up in Maryland and graduated from Perry Hall High School in 1991.[1]
Professionally, Schillinger has worked in merchandising and management for over 20 years.[1]
She is also active in her community. She has volunteered for numerous organizations ranging from the preservation of historic cemeteries, to research for historic organizations, to volunteering for various Church and swim team activities. She has also volunteered at several local schools in District 8.[1]
Currently, Schillinger serves as the secretary of the Perry Hall High School Alumni Association, a board member of the Historic Perry Hall Mansion, a member of Perry Hall High School's 50th Anniversary Committee and as a member of The Women's Club of Perry Hall. She also volunteers at the East Side Family Shelter which houses, feeds and clothes single women and families with children.[1]

2014
Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent Eric Bromwell, Bill Paulshock and Renee Smith defeated Harry "H.B." Bhandari, Debbie Schillinger, Steve Verch and Kyle Arndreas Williams in the Democratic primary, while incumbent John Cluster, Christian Miele and Norma Secoura were unopposed in the Republican primary. Bromwell, Cluster and Miele defeated Paulshock, Smith, and Secoura for three seats in the general election.[2][3]
