Deborah A. Haendiges
Deborah A. Haendiges (Republican Party) is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District. Her current term ends on December 31, 2033.
Haendiges (Democratic Party, Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 5, 2019.
Education
Haendiges received her B.A. degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in 1980 and her J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 1991.[1]
Career
Haendiges began her career in 1992 as an attorney with the firm of Pusatier, Sherman, Abbott & Sugarman. She served as an associate and later, partner, there until 2004. She served briefly as a judge of the Erie County Family Court in 2004. In 2005, she was a Support Magistrate of the Family Court. She was then elected to the Supreme Court in 2006.[1]
