What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow and why?

State Legislator Laura Hall. She speaks up for the people and serves with dignity and grace.[3]
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else that best describes your political philosophy?
Yes my campaign video and my website issues and media.[3]
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Hard working, ethical, and not afraid to speak up and make hard choices and decisions. Transparency.[3]
What qualities do you possess that would make you a successful officeholder?
I have a mouth and know how to use it to be a voice for the people. I have a characteristic that exonerates ethics and transparency. I am progressive and a hard worker. Passionate and willing to work across the isle.[3]
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To continually communicate with the people. To represent my district. To write Bill's and policies that represent the peoples needs. To be transparent.[3]
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would like to leave a legacy of someone who worked hard to make changes and was the peoples voice. That I was a fighter for the people.[3]
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at that time?
My grandmother took me to the March on Washington DC to hear MLK I have a dream speech. From that day on my grandmother kept me involved civilly.[3]
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
Was a counselor to youth at a place called Alternatives in Pottstown, PA. I was there a year, then I worked there during summers during college for 3 summers.[3]
What happened on your most awkward date?
Being treated to dinner and a movie I had to jump out the car and run home because the man insisted I go home with him and would not take me back to my home.[3]
What is your favorite holiday? Why?
Christmas because most folks are in good cheer and it's a great time to celebrate jesus both and family. Plus I get to be Martha Stewart's love child!lol. I love to decorate and cook and fellowship.[3]
What is your favorite book? Why?
The Bible. It gives instruction for life and love.[3]
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?
I love Betty Boop. She was intelligent, sensuous and independant. The fictional character is based on a real black beautiful smart sensuous woman.[3]
What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?
My bedroom. It is my haven. It's designed just for me for peace and relaxation.[3]
What was the last song that got stuck in your head?
Don't worry be happy[3]
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
My weight[3]

The party. Even though both are part of the legislature- there still is a difference between The State Senate v. State Legislature[3]
Do you believe that it’s beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics?
No. To many career politicians.[3]
What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?
Healthcare, gerrymandering, prison reform, education and mental health[3]
What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and the state legislature?
Working together and communicating to achieve goals that help the people.[3]
Do you believe it’s beneficial to build relationships with other legislators? Please explain your answer.
Yes. It's important that we work across the isles to achieve our goals.[3]
What process do you favor for redistricting?
Fairness. Stop splitting the black vote.[3]

Both sitting legislators and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
Yes. I have stories about the mistreatment of veterans and our senior citizens. The stories are similar to mine[3]
