I am a college history professor with a PhD in American History from the University of South Florida. I have almost 20 years of classroom teaching experience. I am a product of Seminole County Public Schools. I have extensive volunteer experience in both the school system as a high school mentor and 1st grade reading tutor and in the nonprofit sector. I am the founder and president of the Save Deer Run Citizen's Action Group and the Society for Historic Casselberry.
  • I support parental rights to educate their child as they see fit.
  • Reading and writing (literacy) must be the primary focus of education.
  • I am a fiscal conservative that believes government must learn to live within its means.
