I am a soon to be retired high school science teacher and lifelong resident of Illinois. I was born in Chicago then moved to Hanover Park when I was 10. It is out of love for my community and desire to continue to serve the people of Kane county that is behind my run for Kane County board. As a mother of 3 adult children and having discussed critical issues with young people I seek to help to make the lives of all that reside within Kane County easier.
  • I have worked with the Friends of the Fox for nearly 20 years and am committed to clean water and air for the citizens of Kane County. The classes I have taught include environmental science and I have studied and taught about the importance of preservation of local ecology for the health of the people and organisms living there. As humans clean water and air are a right.
  • Local businesses, including farms are the bedrock of community and provide jobs and income directly to local communities. I am committed to supporting and encouraging current and more local businesses within the community.
  • Affordability and easing the weight of inflation that has been accrued due to the current administration is an important issue to many and seeking solutions to create affordablie housing, food, and health care are important to me as these things are important to the people of Kane county.
Environment and mental health. Both of these things relate to housing, health, food scarcity, and job creation.
