Deborah Gross
Deborah Gross (Democratic Party) is a member of the Pittsburgh City Council in Pennsylvania, representing District 7. She assumed office in 2013. Her current term ends on January 3, 2028.
Gross (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Pittsburgh City Council to represent District 7 in Pennsylvania. She won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
Biography
Gross received a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Florida and a master's degree in sociology from Duke University. Her professional experience includes working on political campaigns and the Run Baby Run Initiative, which supports women running for office. She started a business called Pecolater, which helps community organizations and nonprofits connect with the business community.[1]

The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, held elections for city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on May 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2015. Five of the nine city council seats were up for election. In the primary election for District 7, incumbent Deborah Gross faced Latasha D. Mayes. Gross was the winner.[2] She won re-election without opposition.[3]
