Deborah Gross-Quatrone
Deborah Gross-Quatrone was a judge on the Vicinage 5 Superior Court in New Jersey.[1] She was appointed to the bench by Gov. Chris Christie (R) in 2015. Initially assigned to the Family Part in Bergen County, she later served in the Essex County Civil Division and Family Division.[2][3]
On March 6, 2017, the New Jersey Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct filed an ethics complaint against Gross-Quatrone. The complaint alleges that she violated the Code of Judicial Conduct by requiring a law clerk to work for three weeks without compensation, secretly taping meetings with her assignment judge, and having her secretary perform personal work, including homework assignments for her son.[3][4]
Gross-Quatrone left the court on March 3, 2022, as she was not reappointed by the end of her term.
Biography
Gross-Quatrone graduated from Montclair State University and the Pace University School of Law.[3]
Prior to her appointment to the bench, Gross-Quatrone was an attorney and a municipal court judge.[3]
