Deborah H. Biggers is a district court judge for the Macon County District Court in Macon County, Alabama.[1] She was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, to a term commencing on January 19, 2015, that expired on January 17, 2021.[2]

Biggers ran for election to the Macon County District Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3rd, 2014, receiving 43.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Lateefah Muhammad, Linda W.H. Henderson, and Katy Smith Campbell.
Runoff: Because no candidate received over 50 percent of the vote in the primary, Biggers and Henderson advanced to a runoff election on July 15. Biggers won the runoff with 55 percent of the vote.
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Education
Biggers received her B.A. degree from Fisk University and her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University.[5]
Career
Prior to her election to the bench, Biggers worked as an attorney in private practice.[5]
