|I am a first time candidate running for the people.
I am a Realtor, wife, mother, friend, neighbor and small business owner. I am a former town of Amherst auxiliary police officer and criminal justice major.
Unlike career politicians I do not owe anyone any favors, nor will I take money from big corporate donors that would expect my influence. I will do what's right for the majority of the people, the majority of the time.
I specialize in representing first time home buyers and have extremely strong negotiating skills. I have also served on over 50 local and state committees, including professional standards, ethics, government affairs, education, technology, best practices and so, so many more!
I have strong leadership skills, both as a 20+years small business owner, as well as holding local and state offices within my industry.
I have been on the board of Directors for both the commercial and residential boards of Realtors. I am a past President for WNY Metro, the Buffalo Niagara women's council of Realtors, the New York State President for the women's council of Realtors & the New York State Governor for the women's council of Realtors.
A former girl scout, as well as being a girl scout leader. I have been a room mother and always volunteered in my children's classrooms.
No matter whether you are my neighbor, friend, colleague, or a stranger I am always one to offer help and assistance.- I will start by helping our police. I will fight fiercely to end cashless bail and to keep career criminals incarcerated.
Cut insane spending and hold those that are currently in office responsible and accountable for their actions while serving the people.
I will fight to remove the clause in the current law that allowed the 11.4% property tax override. Bringing it back down to the 3% NYS cap
My Dad was the youngest person ever to be promoted to Captain and he also was Officer of the Year for saving a neighbor girl from being raped. He was dragged by the attackers car as he reached in to grab the assailant. He, along with others, pulled a man from an overturned car on fire. He jumped into to a body of water to rescue those in a burning boat while we were on vacation. My Dad was strong and my hero. Highly competitive and highly respected.
Ideally, I would like to lower taxes to the point that we can have Mom's or Dad's be home with their little ones again, if that's what they'd like to do.
